About this homestay

Hello! My name is Janice, and I have been a homestay host since 2022. I live in a safe, clean, and welcoming home in Vancouver with my partner and our two children. Aj, my son, is 16, and my daughter Zia is 5. We are a friendly, respectful family who enjoys creating a comfortable, supportive environment for our students.

I work as a Health Care Assistant, so I prioritize cleanliness, safety, and care in our home. We treat our students like part of the family while also respecting their privacy and independence.

Our home is conveniently located, with easy access to public transportation and about 10 minutes to nearby schools, including UBC. We provide high-speed internet and a quiet space for studying. The room is fully furnished, bright, and comfortable.

We enjoy simple family activities like shared meals, conversations, and occasional outings, and we are happy to help students adjust to life in Vancouver.

I currently have a student staying with us long-term, which reflects our positive and stable hosting experience. We look forward to welcoming new students and making them feel at home.
